Dallas, Texas — Exceptional Healthcare (EHC) is proud to announce the appointment of Brigadier General (Ret.) Dr. Ron Stephens as Chief Medical Officer (CMO). Dr. Stephens joins the EHC executive leadership team with more than 35 years of leadership, team building, and healthcare management experience, including distinguished service in the United States Army.
Throughout his career, Dr. Stephens has led complex healthcare organizations across both peacetime and deployed environments and at multiple levels of the Army medical structure. His leadership has been defined by a strong commitment to high quality, safe, and compassionate healthcare, mission accomplishment, effective communication, development of team and leaders, and organizational transformation.

As Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Stephens will provide clinical leadership across Exceptional Healthcare’s hospitals, overseeing medical staff, clinical protocols, physician partnerships, and the expansion of clinical services. He will also play a central role in EHC’s strategic expansion into new states and markets, helping ensure that clinical quality and safety, patient-centered care, and physician collaboration remain at the forefront of the organization’s growth.
