Dallas, Texas — Exceptional Healthcare (EHC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Phyllis Chambers-Berry, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, as Corporate Chief Nursing Officer. She joins the EHC executive leadership team with more than 20 years of experience in healthcare administration and nursing leadership.
Dr. Chambers-Berry brings extensive leadership experience spanning critical care, emergency services, hematology/oncology, and clinical nursing leadership. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong ability to lead healthcare organizations through complex challenges while advancing clinical standards, improving operational performance, and strengthening patient experience.
She is also recognized for building accountable, collaborative teams and fostering a culture that balances clinical excellence with compassion and respect for both patients and healthcare professionals.
In her role as Corporate Chief Nursing Officer, Dr. Chambers-Berry will provide strategic nursing leadership across EHC, helping advance clinical excellence, quality outcomes, operational effectiveness, and a consistent commitment to exceptional patient care.

As Corporate Chief Nursing Officer, Dr. Chambers-Berry will oversee nursing practice standards, support the development and growth of nursing teams, and lead initiatives focused on quality, patient outcomes, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance across EHC’s growing healthcare network.
Her leadership will also be instrumental as EHC continues its expansion into new states and markets, helping ensure that nursing excellence and consistent standards of patient care remain central to the organization’s growth.
