Dr. Phyllis Chambers-Berry is a seasoned healthcare executive and nursing leader with more than 26 years of nursing experience, including nearly two decades in progressive leadership and extensive experience serving in Chief Nursing Officer roles. Her career has been dedicated to advancing nursing excellence, strengthening organizational performance, and creating environments where nurses are empowered to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care.

Throughout her leadership journey, Dr. Chambers-Berry has led nursing operations within complex healthcare environments, including academic medical centers and Level I trauma settings. Her experience encompasses workforce strategy, quality and patient safety, emergency and critical care services, patient experience, operational improvement, nursing professional practice, and large-scale organizational transformation. She has successfully led initiatives focused on reducing reliance on agency staffing, improving nurse recruitment and retention, strengthening patient throughput, reducing patient falls, expanding virtual nursing, and advancing nursing excellence and professional recognition.
