Exceptional Healthcare announces groundbreaking on a new community-based hospital in Prescott
JULY 18 - DALLAS, TX - Exceptional Healthcare, a Texas-based hospital group, has announced that it will break ground on Friday, July 22 on land purchased and subsequently approved for a community hospital for Prescott and the surrounding areas.
The 20,800-square-foot Phase 1 of the facility will be a community-based hospital and ER located at 4822 E. STATE ROUTE 69. The hospital will include outpatient services, imaging, in-house laboratory, and diagnostic services.

Exceptional Healthcare is working alongside area economic development leaders to ensure the hospital will meet and exceed the community's needs," said Bruce McVeigh, COO. "Exceptional Healthcare is initiating partnerships with medical groups from across the state to create the concierge care experience patients deserve while accelerating community-based healthcare innovations, " McVeigh said.

The hospital is projected to be completed with an opening date in late 2023 to early 2024. Mahboubi commented that Phase 1 would run about $25 million.
This is another testament to Exceptional Healthcare's commitment to expanding access to high-quality community-based healthcare, building upon the group's opening in 2021 of Exceptional Community Hospital - Maricopa and Exceptional Community Hospital - Yuma's planned opening on August 15.
