image announcement of stocking blood products for better care

Dallas, TX – Exceptional Healthcare is proud to announce that all Exceptional Community Hospitals located in Arizona now have blood on-site and ready for use in emergency situations only.

This major advancement in patient care is part of Exceptional’s ongoing commitment to deliver timely, compassionate, and comprehensive emergency services in the communities we serve, including Bullhead City, Maricopa, Prescott, and Yuma.

Having blood in stock means we can treat trauma and critically ill patients without delay,” said Bruce McVeigh, Chief Operating Officer of Exceptional Community Hospitals. “This enhances our ability to stabilize patients locally and improves outcomes.

Most community hospitals and smaller facilities have relied on external blood banks or transfers to larger hospitals which cost valuable time during emergencies. By housing blood on-site, Exceptional Community Hospitals are removing that barrier.

This milestone underscores Exceptional’s mission to provide full-service emergency care 24/7 in a setting that’s close to home, with minimal wait times, and high patient satisfaction.

Exceptional Community Hospitals are honored to serve Arizona residents and visitors with advanced emergency capabilities, inpatient hospital care, on-site labs, imaging, board-certified physicians, and now, life-saving blood.
