Bullhead City, Arizona (April 10, 2024) – Exceptional Community Hospital – Bullhead City is partnering with the Bullhead Regional Food Bank (BRFB) to host a Food Drive that will kick-off on Monday, April 15th and will conclude on Saturday, May 4th. Exceptional Community Hospital wants to make a difference for people in our community who are living with food insecurities. The hospital will donate $5.00 for every pound of food collected up to 1,000 pounds to the Bullhead Regional Food Bank. Suggested items to be donated are canned food, boxed pasta, peanut butter, and dry goods.

All donations will go directly to the Bullhead Regional Food Bank, which is located at 590 Hancock Road, Bullhead City. The Bullhead Regional Food Bank also partners with St. Mary’s Food Bank. This partnership allows BRFB to be able to service Mohave County as well as Laughlin, Nevada, and Needles, California.

Food donations can be dropped off at Exceptional Community Hospital – Bullhead City located at 2335 Highway 95. The hospital has also partnered with local businesses to set up additional collection points. Donated food items may also be placed in the Exceptional Community Hospital collection bins at the Senior Campus Meals on Wheels, Tri-State Ace Hardware, and the VFW Post 10005.

Chief Nursing Officer Kelly Meshkoff said, “We are excited to kick-off our inaugural food drive and help the Bullhead Regional Food Bank address a community need. As a leading healthcare provider in Bullhead City, we want the community to know that we care about their health and well-being, and that our care extends outside our hospital walls. We are also extremely grateful for the support local business have already shown in our efforts to host a successful food drive, and we appreciate them allowing us to place our food drive bins inside their businesses.”
