Price Transparency
Shoppable Services
Exceptional HealthCare does not offer shoppable services as defined under the CMS Hospital Price Transparency Rule. Shoppable services are services that can be scheduled in advance. Therefore, we do not maintain or publish a list of shoppable prices for Medicare Transparency purposes.

Exceptional Healthcare is an advocate for greater transparency in healthcare pricing. Therefore, we’ve provided a list of procedures for each hospital service across our system in the machine-readable files below. It is important to note that the out-of-pocket cost to a patient will likely differ significantly from the price in this list for the following reasons:

  • You may receive a bundle of services during your visit (e.g., procedures, lab tests, drugs, or supplies). Without knowing what your physician has ordered for your visit, it may be difficult to combine services in the following tabs to reflect what is performed during your visit.
  • Your insurance provider sets an allowable rate for your visit. Your particular plan design and where you are during the year regarding your benefits can largely affect what you will be expected to pay out-of-pocket for your visit.
  • If you do not have insurance, you will receive the discounted price, which may greatly reduce the out-of-pocket cost for your visit. Because there are so many different variables that can affect your out-of-pocket expenses, we encourage you to contact us to get an estimate for your cost.

All of our Arizona hospitals are now in-network with Blue Cross® Blue Shield® of Arizona, an Independent Licensee of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. We also accept all insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE. Even if we are out of network with your insurance, we will honor your in-network benefits in accordance with the Federal No Surprises Act.

After you receive care at one of our hospitals, you may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance carrier. The EOB is NOT A BILL.

Depending on your health insurance carrier, you may be responsible for a copay, deductible, and co-insurance. Your health insurance carrier will process this for services rendered.

Thank you for making us your hospital of choice.
