Biography

Dr. Satish Patel is a board-certified emergency medicine physician with over 35 years of clinical experience. He currently serves as the Medical Director of Exceptional Community Hospital – Lubbock.

A proud alumnus of Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Dr. Patel completed his undergraduate studies in Chemical Engineering at Texas A&M University. He earned his medical degree from Texas Tech and went on to complete his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Florida.

Prior to joining Exceptional Healthcare, Dr. Patel served as the Medical Director of the Emergency Department at Covenant Health in Lubbock for over 20 years. During that time, he was instrumental in leading high-performing clinical teams, streamlining emergency care operations, and delivering excellent outcomes for thousands of patients.

Throughout his career, Dr. Patel has earned a reputation for clinical excellence, leadership, and a deep commitment to the well-being of the West Texas community. His hands-on, patient-centered approach continues to shape the mission of Exceptional Community Hospital – Lubbock, which stands out for its emphasis on accessibility, innovation, and personalized care.

In his current role, Dr. Patel remains actively involved in both clinical practice and hospital operations, ensuring that every patient receives the highest standard of care.
