Biography
Ardmore is proud to have board-certified Emergency Medicine physician, Dr. Nate Claver, DO, serving as the hospital’s Medical Director.
Dr. Claver grew up in Henryetta, Oklahoma, and graduated from Henryetta High School. He began his college years at Rose State in Midwest City, where he also played baseball, before transferring to the University of Oklahoma to pursue his path in medicine. He continued his medical training at Oklahoma State University’s College of Medicine, graduating in 2008. Following medical school, Dr. Claver completed his Emergency Medicine residency at Integris Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City, finishing in 2012.
Since that time, he has dedicated the last 13 years to serving patients in Ardmore, including eight years as Medical Director of a local emergency department. With more than a decade of leadership experience and a strong commitment to patient care, he brings both knowledge and compassion to his new role with Exceptional Community Hospital.
Dr. Claver and his wife, Whitney, have lived in Ardmore for the past 14 years. They have been married for 15 years and are raising two sons, Crew (8) and Coy (5). Outside of medicine, Dr. Claver enjoys spending time with his family, watching his boys play sports, reading, focusing on health and wellness, and improving his property.
