Biography

Mike Ledesma is a veteran laboratory professional currently working as the Corporate Laboratory Director for Exceptional Healthcare Inc. He currently oversees the laboratory’s strategic vision, technical standards, and administrative operations. Ledesma’s leadership utilizes a combination of lab experience and project management professional skills to leverage modern laboratory technology and to implement an efficient workflow to enhance patient care at our hospitals.

Ledesma brings 24 years of progressive expertise in laboratory management and testing to his role as director. Throughout his career, he has focused on clinical innovation and operational excellence. He has been a public voice for past and current facilities, sharing insights on how the laboratory tracks regional health trends, such as seasonal flu patterns, to better inform the communities.  His extensive tenure in management reflects deep expertise in overseeing complex diagnostic environments and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.

He earned his Bachelor of Science in Clinical Laboratory Science and MBA from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in Lubbock, Texas.

 His professional associations are with Association of Diagnostic Laboratory Medicine and American Society of Clinical Pathology, COLA, and CLIA.

After you receive care at one of our hospitals, you may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance carrier. The EOB is NOT A BILL.

Depending on your health insurance carrier, you may be responsible for a copay, deductible, and co-insurance. Your health insurance carrier will process this for services rendered.
