Biography

Juan Vega serves as Vice President and Market CEO for Exceptional Healthcare in Arizona, overseeing market strategy, operational performance, and network development across five Exceptional Community Hospitals. He brings extensive executive leadership experience, deep operational expertise, and a strong commitment to advancing high-quality, patient-centered care.

Juan began his career at MEDNAX as Operations Manager and Senior Financial Analyst, where he built a strong foundation in healthcare operations and analytics.  He also held leadership roles at Panoramic Health, driving nationwide expansion and operational optimization, and earlier served as Vice President of Business Development at Healthcare Outcomes Performance Co. Prior to joining Exceptional Healthcare, Juan served as Chief Executive Officer at Advantia Health and Women’s Health Arizona, where he led strategic growth initiatives, strengthened operational performance, and advanced patient-centered care models.

He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Arizona. Under his leadership, Exceptional Healthcare aims to strengthen provider partnerships, expand access to care, and enhance the healthcare experience for communities across Arizona.

We also accept all insurance plans, including Medicare, Medicaid, and TRICARE. Even if we are out of network with your insurance, we will honor your in-network benefits in accordance with the Federal No Surprises Act.

After you receive care at one of our hospitals, you may receive an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from your insurance carrier. The EOB is NOT A BILL.

Depending on your health insurance carrier, you may be responsible for a copay, deductible, and co-insurance. Your health insurance carrier will process this for services rendered.
