Biography

Dr. Jon Vasquez serves as the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) for the Arizona Market at Exceptional Healthcare, bringing more than 20 years of clinical and leadership experience to the role. A Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician, Dr. Vasquez is widely respected for his commitment to high-quality patient care, clinical excellence, and building high-performing medical teams.

Dr. Vasquez holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from the University of Washington. He earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine, followed by a General Surgery Internship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania/Hahnemann University Hospital. He completed his Emergency Medicine Residency at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan.

Dr. Vasquez spent 19 years serving in both clinical and leadership capacities within the Scottsdale Healthcare (now HonorHealth) system before joining Dignity Health, where he continued to lead across multiple institutions. Throughout his career, he has built a strong reputation for advancing quality initiatives, improving patient outcomes, and mentoring the next generation of physicians.

As CMO, Dr. Vasquez plays a key role in driving clinical strategy, improving care delivery, and supporting Exceptional Healthcare’s continued growth throughout Arizona.

He and his family are proud members of the Arizona community and remain deeply committed to serving the health and well-being of its residents.
