Iven Wilson, MSN/MBA, BSN, RN, is the Chief Nursing Officer at Exceptional Community Hospital – Maricopa, bringing nearly 20 years of clinical, operational, and executive leadership to the role. A decorated U.S. Army veteran and seasoned healthcare executive, Wilson’s career spans hospitals, outpatient centers, and specialized care environments.
Prior to joining Exceptional Community Hospital, Wilson served as CEO for several Banner-affiliated surgery centers with Atlas Healthcare Partners, where he led transformative initiatives that significantly improved quality, efficiency, and patient satisfaction. His leadership history also includes senior roles with Steward Health Care and Healogics, where he excelled in strategic planning, regulatory compliance, and cost-effective operations.
Wilson is a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, leveraging data-driven strategies to optimize performance and foster continuous improvement. His unique blend of clinical expertise, military discipline, and executive insight makes him an invaluable asset to the organization and community.
A proud veteran, Wilson served as a Combat Medic and Licensed Practical Nurse in the U.S. Army. He holds both a Master of Science in Nursing and an MBA, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix.
