Biography

AnnaMarie Knorr is a dedicated professional with a strong background in healthcare, education, and community service. She currently serves as the Arizona Market Community Relations, Marketing, & Govt. Affairs Director for Exceptional Healthcare and is also the Cross-Country Coach at Heritage Academy Maricopa, where she promotes health and wellness among youth.

AnnaMarie holds a Mini-MBA in Rural Healthcare from Eller Executive Education at The University of Arizona and a B.S. in Business Management from Arizona State University. Her diverse experience includes over a decade of governance. She currently serves as a councilwoman for the City of Maricopa and previously served three terms on the Maricopa Unified School District Governing Board, including President from 2018 to 2020.

Her leadership and service have been recognized across sectors. She was named a Women Achievers of Arizona Unsung Hero by the AZ Capitol Times (2019), received the Alliance Award from the Industrial Commission of Arizona (2019), the Outstanding Service Award from the AZ Cotton Growers Association (2017), and the Industry Appreciation Award from the AZ Nursery Association (2016). A fifth-generation Arizonan, AnnaMarie has lived in Maricopa since 2005 and is raising four children. She enjoys cooking, running, and volunteering with local organizations.
