Biography

Amy Pallesen is an accomplished healthcare professional and Family Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of healthcare experience. Her professional background includes extensive experience in emergency medicine, critical access healthcare, certified wound care, and healthcare leadership.

Amy earned her Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Nursing Executive Leadership from Walden University. She later completed her Post-Master’s Family Nurse Practitioner education through Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions, during which she completed 350 hours of FNP clinical training in Rural Emergency Medicine, further strengthening her ability to provide advanced, high-acuity care in underserved settings while integrating clinical practice with healthcare leadership.

Throughout her career, Amy has developed expertise in emergency and critical care, healthcare operations, quality improvement, patient safety, staff development, and nursing education. Her clinical training and certifications include trauma care, pediatric trauma, cardiac and stroke care, fetal monitoring, and wound care.

In addition to her clinical and leadership experience, Amy has served as a nursing educator, helping educate, mentor, and prepare future healthcare professionals. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, she brings an advanced-practice perspective to leadership, combining clinical expertise with a strong focus on evidence-based practice, patient-centered care, and organizational excellence.

Amy is passionate about developing strong healthcare teams, mentoring future leaders, strengthening clinical practice, and ensuring patients receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.

Outside of healthcare, Amy can often be found in the arena with her horses, competing in rodeo events. The dedication, perseverance, and competitive spirit required in the arena are qualities she carries into her professional life and leadership.
